‘CG SATHI’ initiative in Chhattisgarh will establish a unified platform for the Health Department and partner institutions

Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal released a book titled “CG SATHI” (Chhattisgarh Strategic Alliance for Transforming Healthcare Initiatives) at his official residence on Tuesday. The purpose of this publication is to guide technical collaboration with partner organisations, aiming to enhance healthcare facilities, improve health indicators, and streamline the implementation of health schemes and projects throughout the state.
This pioneering initiative in Chhattisgarh will establish a unified platform for the Health Department and partner institutions. The book outlines a phased strategy for implementing existing programs and developing new ones through comprehensive discussions and reviews. Officials anticipate that this collaborative approach will expedite the implementation of health programs and improve various health indicators through enhanced communication between stakeholders.
Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal highlighted that the primary goal is to ensure more effective implementation of schemes, reaching every individual in need. He remarked that ‘CG SATHI’ is a commendable step towards achieving this objective. The initiative has received strong support from the Chhattisgarh Health Department and UNICEF. Nodal Program Officer for NGOs in the state Dr. Kamlesh Jain, UNICEF Health Specialist Dr. Gajendra Singh, and state representatives from the World Health Organisation, along with other partner organisations, were present at the event.
