A group of 850 devotees from Chhattisgarh departed on a spiritual journey to Ayodhya and Varanasi

A group of 850 devotees from Chhattisgarh departed on a spiritual journey to Ayodhya and Varanasi under the Shri Ram Lala Darshan Yojana on Tuesday, August 7. The Bharat Gaurav Special Train departed from Bilaspur, carrying pilgrims to visit the newly constructed Shri Ram Lala Temple in Ayodhya and the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. Shri Arun Singh Chauhan, Chairman of the Bilaspur Zila Panchayat, flagged off the train amidst cheers of “Jai Shri Ram” and traditional music and dance performances. During the journey, the state government will provide all necessary facilities, including food and accommodation.

Devotees expressed their gratitude to the Chhattisgarh Government for organising this pilgrimage. Smt Rama Tiwari from Bilaspur stated, “We are fortunate to have this opportunity. We thank Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai.” Shri Pratap Singh from Korba praised the scheme for respecting the people’s faith, while Smt. Rajkumari Patel from Raigarh expressed her gratitude for the chance to visit Ayodhya.
