Beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai for the scheme

The Chhattisgarh Government has launched the Mahtari Vandan Yojana to empower women. Under this initiative, women in the state receive direct financial assistance of Rs. 1000 monthly through DBT in their bank accounts. Positive outcomes of this scheme are being observed across the state. Smt. Gita Nayak, a resident of Korkoma in Korba block, praised the scheme, calling it a meaningful effort towards women’s empowerment. She stated that the funds have become a lifeline for women in need during difficult times. Smt. Nayak shared that the monthly deposit of Rs. 1000 helps women meet their various needs. As a beneficiary, she mentioned that her husband, Shri Nilambar Nayak, works in agriculture. She has been receiving the funds under the scheme for the past six months, using the money to fulfil her family’s needs, support her children’s education, and provide nutritious meals. Additionally, she receives food grains at prescribed rates through her ration card. Smt. Nayak shared that the monthly deposits are boosting women’s self-confidence and providing a sense of financial security. This enables them to fulfil their responsibilities without fear. Expressing gratitude, she thanked Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and the Chhattisgarh Government for implementing this beneficial scheme for women.
Beneficiaries across Chhattisgarh are expressing gratitude for the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Smt. Usha Adil, a 50-year-old resident of Siltara village in Raipur district, shared her joy upon receiving the funds. She is using the money to support her daughter Nimmi’s college education, who is currently in her second year of B.Sc. Smt Prema Verma, from the same village, thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. She plans to buy a silver ornament as a gift for her 7-year-old granddaughter Chitranshi. Smt Santoshi Khunte from Raita village in Raipur district stated that the scheme helps her meet small needs without depending on others. Smt Archana Padmawar, a Raipur resident, is using the money to buy necessary medicines. In Mahasamund district, Smt. Parvati Mongre from Jivtara village is using the funds for her son Narayan’s B.Sc. education, covering his book expenses and fees. Smt. Santoshi from Kanekera village in the same district praised Shri Modi for fulfilling his guarantee. Smt. Chumeshwari Dubey from Armari village in Balod district is using the money to buy nutritious fruits and ration items to improve her children’s health.
