Meeting held between Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, Revenue Secretary Shri Champawat, and Patwari Union

There will no longer be issues regarding revenue-related matters

Raipur 18 July 2024// The indefinite strike by the Revenue Patwari Union (Rajaswa Patwari Sangh) concluded today after the intervention of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. Acting on his directive, a meeting was held with the Union’s president and office bearers, attended by Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma and Revenue Secretary Shri Avinash Champawat. During this meeting, all of the Union’s issues were discussed. Both the Revenue Minister and Revenue Secretary assured the Sangh of positive action regarding their demands.

With the strike now ended, various revenue-related services—including income, caste, and residence—will resume. Meanwhile, the Patwari Union initiated the indefinite strike on July 8, presenting a list of 32 point demands.

Among the Union’s key demands were the provision of computers, internet access, and printers for online operations in government offices, as well as necessary resources, net allowance, and the ability to amend land partitions directly from Patwari IDs. They also requested the posting of assistant programmers at the district level and the online management of land purchases, sales, and registries on the Bhuiyan portal and automatic removal of mortgages from the portal once farmers repay their bank loans.
