Shri Pratap Samant visited the ‘Jandarshan’ program to thank the Chief Minister, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai
Raipur, 4 July 2024/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai promptly addresses people’s problems through his ‘Jandarshan’ program. During the first ‘Jandarshan’ organised on June 27, Shri Pratap Samant, a resident of Gudhiyari in Raipur, met Chief Minister Shri Sai. Shri Samant shared that his employer, Srinivas Maruti Steel Private Limited, had terminated his employment without notice and had not settled his bonus, PF, leave, or pending salary. The Chief Minister immediately instructed labour department officials to resolve the issue.
Following Chief Minister Shri Sai’s directives, labour department officials summoned the management of Srinivas Maruti Steel Private Limited on June 28 and investigated the matter. They instructed the company to pay the pending dues to Shri Samant, who had been working as a foreman. The labour department’s intervention led to a mutual agreement, and the company immediately paid Rs. 1 lakh to Shri Samant. The company also agreed to resolve Samant’s PF-related matters promptly.
Delighted with the swift resolution of his problem in just one day, Shri Pratap Samant visited ‘Jandarshan’ program again to thank the Chief Minister, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. He met the Chief Minister, informed him about the resolution of his issue, and expressed his gratitude for the quick solution.
