Average Rainfall of 191.7mm recorded in Chhattisgarh so far

Raipur, 02 July 2024/According to the information compiled by the State-Level Control Room under Revenue and Disaster Management Department, an average rainfall of 191.7 mm has been recorded in Chhattisgarh state since June 1, 2024. Bijapur district has recorded the highest average rainfall of 283.1 mm and Surguja district has recorded the lowest average rainfall of 128.6 mm.

According to the information received from the State Level Flood Control Room, from June 1 till now, an average rainfall of 159.1 mm was recorded in Surajpur district, 139.7 mm in Balrampur, 178.1 mm in Jashpur, 164.9 mm in Koriya, 154.2 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.

Similarly, average rainfall of 180.2 mm was recorded in Raipur district, 191.6 mm in Baloda Bazar, 214.5 mm in Gariaband, 211.5 mm in Mahasamund, 212.1 mm in Dhamtari, 176.7 mm in Bilaspur, 178.0 mm in Mungeli, 187.0 mm in Raigarh, 157.1 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 189.8 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 156.3 mm in Sakti, 199.2 mm in Korba, 185.7 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 161.9 mm in Durg. From June 1 till now, an average rainfall of 153.7 mm has been recorded in Kabirdham district, 169.1 mm in Rajnandgaon, 201.1 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarhchowki, 125.2 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 217.6 mm in Balod, 179.5 mm in Bemetara, 232.7 mm in Bastar, 232.6 mm in Kondagaon, 189.5 mm in Kanker, 265.3 mm in Narayanpur, 217.3 mm in Dantewada and 334.7 mm in Sukma.
