Shri Akhilesh Sing, HOP (Lara) kicked off the WR-II IRSM (Badminton) at Lara on 25th April 2024. WR-II (IRSM) is being played at Lara from 25 to 27 April 2024. Players from all stations of WR-II are participating in this tournament. At the inaugural programme, Shri Singh administered a sports oath to all players to play with true sports spirit. Addressing the gathering he underlined the importance of sports for a healthy life. Shri Singh, along with all GMs, and captains of all participating teams unveiled the trophy of this tournament.
Total 66 employees from , NTPC’s Korba, Sipat, Khargone, Gadarwara, Lara and Western Region Head quarters are participating in 4 categories, i.e. singles, doubles, mixed doubles and team event. Among others Smt Sangeeta Singh, President, Prerita Mahila Samiti and office bearers of PMS, Shri Rajeev Ranjan, GM (O&M) Shri Ravi Shankar, GM (Project), Shri Jakir Khan, HOHR, HODs, players and employees were present.
