Department of Sports and Youth Welfare will organise the Rajya Khel Alankaran Samaroh 2024 at Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur
Raipur, 13 March 2024 . Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will felicitate the talented athletes of the state at the Rajya Khel Alankaran Samaroh 2024 on March 14. The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Dr. Raman Singh, will preside over the program. Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Arun Sao and Shri Vijay Sharma, along with the Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare, Shri Tank Ram Verma, will grace the event as a Special Guest of Honour. The Rajya Khel Alankaran Samaroh-2024 will be organised by the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare at the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium from 11 a.m. onwards.
As special guests, the Education Minister Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Food Minister Shri Dayal Das Baghel, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Industries Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Women and Child Development Minister Smt Laxmi Rajwade, MLAs Shri Rajesh Munat, Shri Purandar Mishra, Shri Motilal Sahu, Shri Anuj Sharma, Shri Indrakumar Sahu, and Guru Khushwant Saheb will grace the event.
In the program, the state government will honour 6 athletes and 11 athletes with the Shaheed Rajeev Pandey Award for the years 2019-20 and 2020-21 respectively, 06 and 03 with the Shaheed Kaushal Yadav Award for the years 2019-20 and 2020-21, 02 and 01 with the Veer Hanuman Singh Award for the years 2019-20 and 2020-21, 27 and 16 with the Shaheed Pankaj Vikram Samman for the years 2019-20 and 2020-21, 05 and 05 with the Shaheed Vinod Chaubey Samman for the years 2019-20 and 2020-21, 25 and 26 with Chief Minister’s Trophy for the years 2019-20 and 2020-21.
During the program, the state government will honour the athletes who received medals in national competitions. The state government will award a prize sum of Rs. 30.36 lakh to 269 athletes for the year 2019-20 and Rs. 19.32 lakh to 142 athletes for the year 2020-21.
