Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai empowers beneficiaries through distribution of essentials

Raipur 17 January 2024// Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai extended support to beneficiaries by distributing essentials under various government public welfare schemes in a programme held in Gunderdehi today.

In this initiative, Chief Minister Shri Sai presented a cheque of Rs 25,000 each to two beneficiaries for housing construction under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) and provided similar assistance to three beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). A total of 11 beneficiaries were provided with gas connections under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, while five beneficiaries received nutrition kits as part of the National Nutrition Campaign. Besides, as many as 10 beneficiaries were provided maize seeds to encourage the cultivation of maize instead of summer paddy.

Other beneficiaries included one recipient of an ice box, one individual who received a box and net under the Matsya Palan Prasar Yojana, and two Divyangs who were presented with battery-operated tricycles. Two beneficiaries received a cheque of Rs 10,000 each under the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, and ten individuals received employment offer letters through placement camps organized under the Mukhyamantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana. Shri Sai also distributed Ayushman cards to five beneficiaries.
