Governor Shri Harichandan urges citizens to ensure temple cleanliness

Joins cleanliness drives of Shri Ram Mandir and Shri Jagannath Mandir, Raipur

Raipur 16 January 2024// Chhattisgarh Governor Shri Biswabhusan Harichandan contributed his bit in promoting the message of ensuring temple cleanliness by personally engaging in the cleanliness drive of the premises of both the Shri Ram Mandir on VIP Road and the Shri Jagannath Mandir in Gayatri Nagar, Raipur.

Governor Shri Harichandan urged the citizens across the state and the nation to ensure cleanliness in the temples. “The cleanliness drive aligns with the initiative led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. By keeping our surroundings clean, we contribute to the well-being of Mother Earth. This campaign serves as an inspiration for us to engage in humanitarian service”, he said.

During his visit, Shri Harichandan not only actively participated in the cleanliness efforts but also offered prayers at both temples, extending his wishes for the prosperity and happiness of the entire nation, including Chhattisgarh.

Religious Trust and Endowments Minister Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, the Chairman of the Temple Committee, and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
