School Education Minister Mr. Brijmohan Agrawal inaugurated the 40th NTPC National Sub Junior Competition organised by the Chhattisgarh State Archery Association at the Science College Ground in Raipur on Friday.

In his address at the programme, Mr. Agrawal expressed optimism for the future of sports in Chhattisgarh and stated that the state government is actively working to promote the sports sector. He highlighted the significance of an ongoing archery sports competition and anticipated that it would elevate Chhattisgarh’s status on both national and international platforms. The Chhattisgarh State Archery Association has gained global recognition. Mr. Agrawal assured unwavering support from the state government for sports development, emphasising the commitment to providing assistance for training and facilities. He lauded the organisers for organising such a great competition.

Over 1000 players from across India actively participated in the ongoing competition. The event witnessed the presence of Chhattisgarh Archery Association President Mr. Kailash Murarka, association members, sports trainers, managers, participants from various states, and other notable individuals.
