Central Government released an amount of Rs 2485.79 crore to Chhattisgarh
Funds will help strengthen social welfare and infrastructure initiatives in Chhattisgarh
Raipur 22 December 2023 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman for the release of Chhattisgarh’s tax devolution dues by the Central Government. He stated that this financial support will strengthen the state’s commitment to fulfilling promises made to the public. Keeping in view the upcoming festivals and New Year, the Central Government has released an additional instalment of Rs 2485.79 crore to Chhattisgarh. This release follows a previous instalment provided by the Center on December 11 this year. The funds received from the Central Government will enhance the state government’s financial backing for social welfare and infrastructure development initiatives.
