Today marks the commencement of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. After assuming the responsibility as Chief Minister, I have the opportunity to address the citizens of the entire state for the first time through this program. The honourable Prime Minister has launched the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, and we are fortunate that it will be conducted effectively in our state.
This is my first public appearance after assuming the role of Chief Minister, and I would like to express that our Prime Minister has consistently launched schemes for public welfare, ensuring their benefits reach the people. His dedication to uplifting the poor is commendable, and even during the challenging times of the Corona pandemic, he prioritized the protection of citizens. The Prime Minister’s global message of overcoming the pandemic, with India developing two COVID-19 vaccines and sharing them with other nations, reflects his leadership. The extension of the Garib Kalyan Yojana and the provision of an additional 5 kg of rice to 80 crore people under the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana showcase the government’s concern for every class.
“I, as Chief Minister, pledge to fulfill Modi’s guarantees, and our cabinet’s decision to provide houses to 18 lakh people is a step towards this commitment. With your blessings, we will fulfill “Modi Guarantees” in our state. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra will continue until January 26, 2024. I urge all of you to assist the beneficiaries in availing the benefits of the schemes by helping them fill out their forms,” Shri Sai said.
