Gandhi Jayanti celebrated in SECL, Safai Mitras honored


The 154th birth anniversary of Pujya Bapu Mahatma Gandhi was celebrated at SECL on 02 October 2023. On this occasion, CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra, Director (Finance) Shri G. Srinivasan, Director Technical (Operations & Planning/Projects) Shri S.N. Kapri, Director (Personnel) Shri Debashish Acharya, Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Jayant Kumar Khamari, various heads of departments, officers-employees, labor union representatives paid their respects by offering garlands and flowers at the Gandhi Statue located at SECL Nehru Shatabdi Nagar. Thereafter, CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra administered the cleanliness oath to all the attendees and everyone took a pledge to devote 100 hours for cleanliness every year.


Safai Mitras honored under Swachhta Hi Seva campaign


Safai Mitras working in SECL were also honored in the Gandhi Jayanti program today. It may be noted that Swachhta Hi Seva Abhiyan has been celebrated across the country from 15th September to 2nd October under the joint aegis of the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation and Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The theme of this year’s campaign was Garbage Free India and the main objective of this year’s campaign is to promote cleanliness of our surroundings and the welfare of our Safaimitras.
The campaign concluded today with 139 Safai Mitras working at SECL Headquarters, Vasant Vihar and Indira Vihar Colonies being honored by SECL CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra and other distinguished guests. Safai Mitra looked very happy after receiving the honor from the CMD and other distinguished guests
