Lok Sabha MP Mr. Rahul Gandhi will visit Chhattisgarh to attend the “Awas NYAY Sammelan” on September 25 in Sakri village of Takhatpur development block of Bilaspur district. He, along with Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, will distribute appointment letters to 2594 teachers recruited for Surguja and Bastar divisions by the School Education Department. The appointment letters will be distributed to 416 teachers and 2178 assistant teachers.
The recent appointment of teachers is expected to significantly enhance the education system in Chhattisgarh, paving the way for a brighter future for the youth. In consonance with Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel’s directives, the School Education Department initiated direct recruitment of teachers for the Surguja and Bastar divisions this year. In May 2023, the School Education Department released advertisements to recruit 12,057 teachers, which include 5,772 teachers and 6,285 assistant teachers. The VYAPAM conducted an examination on June 10, 2023, and announced the result on July 2. So far, the state government has distributed the appointment letter to 3,459 recruited teachers.
