Raipur 14 September 2023/ Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated a newly constructed bridge over the Kharun River between Ufra and Raveli villages, at a cost of 8 crore 35 lakh 81 thousand rupees, dedicated to the public for their convenience. The construction of the bridge will benefit approximately 50 thousand people in about 24 villages in the region. The long-awaited demand of the local population has been fulfilled, and now there is direct access from the Durg district headquarters to the state capital Raipur.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel took the opportunity to visit Baba Kutir Hanuman Temple on the banks of the Kharun River in Ufra village. He worshiped Lord Hanuman and wished for the prosperity and well-being of the people of the state. Subsequently, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel participated in the Pola Tihar held in Mahuda village. Addressing the festival, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel extended his best wishes to the pahuna sisters and villagers for Pola Tihar. During this event, he also performed a ritualistic worship of bulls and initiated the bull race. The festival was attended by local representatives and a large number of people from the area.
