Raipur, September 13, 2023/ Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board is organizing a poster and envirothon competition for school and college students as a part of celebration of International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer on September 14, 2023. The event will take place at Naveen Vishram Griha, Civil Lines, Raipur, commencing at 10 AM. Participants will have to carry their Aadhaar card and a school or college identification card for taking part in these competitions.
The theme for the poster competition is “Montreal Protocol: Healing the Ozone Layer and Combating Climate Change.” The competition will be conducted in three age categories: the first age group comprises individuals aged 12 to 17 years, the second age group includes those aged 18 to 22 years, and the third age group is designated for Divyangs.
Likewise, the theme for the envirothon is “Turning Trash into Treasure.” Participants from Class 10 to 12 are eligible for the first age group, while all undergraduate students can participate in the second age group, and all postgraduate students can compete in the third age group. Both competitions offer attractive cash prizes, with winners being honored during the main event on the same day at 4 in the evening.
