Chairperson of the State Women Commission, Mrs. Nayak, tied a unique rakhi on the Chief Minister’s wrist on Raksha Bandhan
Gariaband’s Bihan SHG crafted a special rakhi made from cow dung and paddy
Raipur, 31 August 2023/ On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel’s wrist was adorned with a rakhi made from cow dung and paddy. This unique design rakhi is made by the Gariaband’s Bihan SHG. Mrs. Kiranmayee Nayak, Chairperson of the State Women Commission, tied this special rakhi on Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel’s wrist on Wednesday and conveyed her best wishes. Mrs. Nayak purchased the unique design rakhi prepared by Gariaband’s Bihan SHG. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Mr. Baghel appreciated the efforts of our sister of the villages who are connected with SHG and making beautiful rakhis. Chief Minister Shri Baghel requested people to encourage our sisters in villages by purchasing Rakhis made by them. The Chief Minister also presented a gift to Mrs. Nayak on Raksha Bandhan.
