Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel paid tribute to social reformer and educationist Swami Atmanand by garlanding his photograph on his death anniversary at his residential office today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Swami Atmanand started the culture of human service and education in Chhattisgarh. He described the service of humanity as the biggest religion. Chhattisgarh was his workplace. Swami Atmanand inculcated manners in children, service among youth, and spiritual satisfaction among elders in urban and tribal areas. The thoughts of Swami Vivekananda also had a deep impact on him, and he spent his whole life in the service of the destitute.

The Chief Minister said that, following in the footsteps of Swami Atmanand, the state government is making all possible efforts for education, healthcare, and employment of farmers, forest dwellers, and laborers.
