Average Rainfall of 602.5 mm recorded in Chhattisgarh so far


 
Raipur, 4 August 2023/ According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, the state has recorded an average rainfall of 602.5 mm since June 1, 2023. Based on the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 1, 2023, to today, August 4, morning, the highest average rainfall of 1049.0 mm was recorded in Bijapur district and the lowest average rainfall of 282.8 mm in Surguja district.
 


According to the information received from the state-level flood control room, since June 1, an average rainfall of 545.3 mm was recorded in Surajpur district, 483.0 mm in Balrampur, 476.7 mm in Jashpur, 590.5 mm in Koriya, and 600.2 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.


 
Similarly, average rainfall of 711.8 mm in Raipur district, 599.2 mm in Balodabazar, 852.6 mm in Gariaband, 652.4 mm in Mahasamund, 620.3 mm in Dhamtari, 620.2 mm in Bilaspur, 781.9 mm in Mungeli, 665.3 mm in Raigarh, 525.7 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 487.3 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 488.6 mm in Sakti, 600.5 mm in Korba, 561.2 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, and 486.3 mm in Durg were recorded. Average rainfall of 481.0 mm in Kabirdham district, 677.7 mm in Rajnandgaon, 775.1 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, 624.8 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 671.3 mm in Balod, 467.1 mm in Bemetara, 630.1 mm in Bastar, 463.7 mm in Kondagaon, 551.6 mm in Kanker, 542.3 mm in Narayanpur, 725.3 mm in Dantewada and 863.4 mm in Sukma was recorded since June 1.
