Jashpur district is full of natural beauty and has immense tourism potential. The climate and soil found here are suitable for tea and coffee cultivation. The district administration promotes the cultivation of fruits, flowers, and spices, along with tea and coffee. Besides paddy cultivation, district farmers also cultivate spices and seasonal crops. In collaboration with the district administration, farmers are provided technical training and facilitated visits to states such as Assam, Kolkata, and Darjeeling. The objective behind these initiatives is to expose them to advanced techniques employed in tea and coffee cultivation. This has benefited 72 farmer families and employed more than 1000 labourers in the Jashpur district.
