Feast at the Chief Minister’s residence to honour the villagers who invited him to have a meal in Bastar division

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel embarked on a state-wide ‘Bhent Mulakat Abhiyan’, interacting directly with the people, especially from rural areas of different legislative assemblies, to assess government schemes’ progress and implementation in the state. During his visit, he shared a traditional meal with rural families from every constituency, gaining insights into their experiences. In a reciprocal gesture, the families warmly welcomed the Chief Minister into their homes to have a meal with them, engaging in candid conversations. Demonstrating his gratitude, the Chief Minister extended an invitation to these rural families from the Bastar division, hosting them for lunch at his residence and offering them exceptional hospitality.

The Chief Minister graciously welcomed the guests from Bastar at his residence, expressing gratitude for their warm hospitality during his visit to their homes. He acknowledged the delicious meals served with great care and affection, extending his congratulations to everyone present. Welcoming the guests, including their family members and children, the Chief Minister expressed his delight at the opportunity to invite them to his residence and offered them a heartfelt welcome.

The Chief Minister personally interacted with the villagers at the dining table, showing genuine interest in their well-being and discussing family matters. The guests at the Chief Minister’s residence were served with a variety of delicious dishes, including ‘Lai Badi’, ‘Ramkeliya Kadhi’, ‘Lauki ki Kheer’, and ‘Mawa Bati’.

Expressing gratitude, the Chief Minister acknowledged the delicious meals prepared and served by the villagers during his visit and extended a warm welcome to guests from various legislative assemblies, including Bhanupratappur, Sukma, and Kondagaon of the Bastar division. Reflecting on the hospitality received, he decided to invite everyone to his residence as a gesture of reciprocation. The Chief Minister’s invitation included MLAs, public representatives, sarpanches, and individuals with whom he shared meals during his visits to Surguja and Raipur divisions.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel commemorated the one-year anniversary of the ‘Bhent Mulakat Abhiyan’ program, which began on May 4 last year. Reflecting on the fruitful discussions and interactions held during the program, he expressed gratitude to the attendees. The Chief Minister acknowledged that valuable insights were gathered regarding the implementation of government schemes and received requests for development projects. Expressing appreciation, he thanked everyone who, accompanied by their families, including parents and children, graced the Chief Minister’s residence.

Kanti Mandavi brings homemade delicious ‘Moong-Bada’ for the Chief Minister

During a conversation with Mr. Surendra Mandavi from Dhanora village in Keshkal Assembly Constituency, the Chief Minister mentioned that they had all dined together in the “angan” (courtyard) at Mandavi’s residence. When asked about his first-time experience, Mr. Mandavi conveyed his happiness. Mrs. Kanti Mandavi brought homemade ‘moong-bada’ as a loving gift for the Chief Minister, who graciously tasted them and appreciated her kind gesture.
