Raipur: Minister Mrs. Bhediya honored manual workers by partaking Bore-Basi

Raipur, 01 May . Minister for Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Mrs. Anila Bhediya started her day by partaking Bore-Basi to honor manual workers today on the occasion of International Labour Day. She enjoyed Bore Basi with traditional Chhattisgarhi food, including Chech Bhaji, Kheda ki Sabzi, Mango pickle, and onion.

Mrs. Bhediya, while extending her best wishes of International Labour Day to the state’s residents and manual laborers, said that at the request of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, we are celebrating Labour Day as Bore Basi Day. We are all expressing our respect to labour by partaking Bore Basi. She said that Bore Basi has a special significance in Chhattisgarh. People of all classes consume it with great fervor. Its nutritional value provides great strength. That is why people prefer to eat Bore-Basi before going to work.
