The Chief Minister said that our folk festivals and our folk culture are connected with nature. Our forefathers have cherished Teej festivals on the basis of their experience. Our Teej-festivals start from Hareli and go on till Holi in Phagun. More festivals are celebrated in Sawan and Bhado, because this is the time when our farmers and laborers work hard. It is important to organize festivals at this time because everyone gathers together and celebrates festivals so that they can forget the stress.
