Ambikapur : Virtual launch of Mukhyamantri Vriksha Sampada Yojana today

Ambikapur 20 March . On the occasion of World Forestry Day, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will virtually launch “Mukhyamantri Vriksha Sampada Yojana” on March 21, 2023. The district level program has been organised from 11 am in village Podipa under Gram Panchayat Sakholi of Ambikapur development block.

   The program will be presided over by District Incharge Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahariya and Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, Health Minister Mr. TS Singhdeo, Food Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat, Lundra MLA Dr. Pritam Ram, Chairman of Food Commission Mr. Gurpreet Singh Babra, President of Chhattisgarh tribal local Health Traditions Board, board Shri Balkrishna Pathak,  Vice President of Twenty Point Program Implementation Committee, Mr. Ajay Agarwal, Chairman of Labor Welfare Board, Mr. Shafi Ahmed, Mayor Dr. Ajay Tirkey, District Panchayat President, Mrs. Madhu Singh, Vice President Mr. Adityeshwar Sharan Singhdev, Apex Bank’s Director Mr. Ajay Bansal, Vice President of State Madrasa Board Mr. Irfan Siddiqui, Member of State Gau-Seva Commission Mr. Atal Bihari Yadav, Member of Chhattisgarh Tel Ghani Board Mr. Laxmi Gupta, Member of State Seed Certification Board Mr. Arvind Gupta, Member of State Farmers Welfare Council Member Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Member of State Urdu Academy Mr. Badruddin Eraki, Member of State Women’s Commission Mrs. Neeta Vishwakarma, Member of State Scheduled Tribes Commission Mr. Amrit Toppo, District Panchayat Member Mr. Rakesh Gupta, official from Standing Committee  of Forest Mrs. Anima Kerketta will be present as chief guests.

 Divisional Forest Officer Mr. Pankaj Kamal has informed that on the inauguration, plantation will be done in 94 acres of land of 30 farmers of the district where irrigation facilities are available.while more Planting will be done in the remaining land during the rainy season. He stated that so far 600 beneficiaries have been selected for planting in 1 thousand 29 acres of land in the district.

   It is to be noted that the main objective of the Mukhyamantri Vriksha Sampada Yojana is to promote commercial tree plantation. Under this, after planting trees of commercial species on the land of all the farmers, government, non-government, semi-government, panchayats or autonomous institutions of the state, a strong market system will be built.Under the Mukhyamantri Vriksha Sampada Yojana, all interested landowners of all classes will be eligible. Apart from this, government, semi-government and autonomous institutions of government who want to plant on their own land will be eligible. Similarly, private educational institutions, private trusts, non-governmental organisations, panchayats, land contract holders, who want to plant in their land, will be eligible. Under the scheme, tissue culture teak, tissue culture bamboo, melia dubia, sandalwood and clonal eucalyptus plants will be planted. Government will give 100 percent subsidy for plantation up to 5 acres and 50 percent subsidy for plantation on more than 5 acres of land.
