Mass movement will be launched in the state to save people from drug addiction

State Women’s Commission Chairperson Dr. Kiranmayee Nayak wrote a letter to Chief Minister Mr. Baghel in this regard

Raipur 20 March . Dr. Kiranmayee Nayak, Chairperson of Chhattisgarh State Commission for Women, has written a letter to Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel urging him to start a massive campaign to save the people of Chhattisgarh from drug addiction. In her letter, she stated that addiction is harmful to our lives and causes direct or indirect harm to all sections of society. Since this government came to power, the police and the government have worked together with the Women and Child Development Department, Social Welfare Department, and the Women’s Commission to try and stop drug addiction, and their efforts have had a positive impact.

Dr. Nayak has also stated in her letter to the Chief Minister that he must have felt the need to turn this issue into a mass movement. She has requested the Chief Minister to initiate a mass campaign, especially with women, to save the people of Chhattisgarh from all types of addiction such as cannabis, opium, tobacco, alcohol, gutka, smoking, charas, cocaine, and brown sugar, so that all the people of Chhattisgarh can benefit from it.
