North Bastar Kanker : So far, Ayushman Cards have been issued to 5 lakh 73 thousand people

5 villages from each development block will be transformed into ‘Adarsh Gram’

North Bastar Kanker, 14 March . Five villages of each development block with Forest Rights recognition letters will be developed as ‘Adarsh Gram’ in the district. The Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat and Collector In charge Mr. Sumit Agrawal chaired a meeting of officers today. In the meeting, he has given instructions to the officers to ensure employment of 100 days to more and more people under the MGNREGA and the registration of people who had not yet registered for Ayushman Card. During the meeting, it was said that so far, Ayshman cards have been issued to 5 lakh 73 thousand 494 people in the district. Chief Executive Officer Mr. Agrawal has given instructions to accelerate the construction work of under-construction PDS shops and Anganwadi centers.

 While reviewing the purchase of cow dung and the manufacture and sale of vermicompost in Gauthans under the Godhan Nyay Yojana, Mr. Agrawal said that they should ensure the purchase of 30 quintals of cow dung per fortnight in all Gauthans of the district. He has also asked to ensure the purchase of cow dung in Gauthans of Nagar Panchayats and has given instructions to motivate all livestock farmers for selling cow dung in Gauthans. A review of the manufacture/sale of vermicompost from cow dung and the manufacture/sale of Bramhastra from cow urine was also conducted. Instructions to speed up the garbage shed construction work under solid waste management were given. Chief Executive Officer Mr. Sumit Agrawal also reviewed the resolution of received letters at the governance level and applications received at Collector E-Janchaupal. He instructed the officers to take quick action in this regard. In case of resolved cases, they were asked to send the reports without any delay. All SDMs and district officers of various departments were present during the meeting.
