Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has paid homage to the great social worker and Chhattisgarh’s first woman MP Minimata ji on her birth anniversary. Remembering Minimata, Mr. Baghel said that Minimata ji had an incomparable contribution in the upliftment of the deprived, the exploited and marginalized women. Minimata dedicated her whole life to remove untouchability, poverty, illiteracy and backwardness prevailing in the society. She raised her voice against many social evils and worked for the welfare of women and laborers. Mr. Baghel further said that entire Chhattisgarh is proud of Minimata’s service-oriented, hardworking and inspirational personality.
