Chief Minister celebrates Holi with journalists at Raipur Press Club

The Chief Minister was welcomed with garlands of gourd, jackfruit and brinjal.

Raipur, 07 March . Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attended the Holi Milan function organized by Raipur Press Club today. Member of Parliament Mr. Sunil Soni, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, President of Chhattisgarh Home State Construction Board Mr. Kuldeep Juneja were also present at the Holi Milan function organized at the Press Club Bhavan in Motibagh, Raipur. On reaching the dais, the office bearers of Raipur Press Club welcomed Chief Minister Mr. Baghel by applying gulal and garlanding him with garland made of gourd, jackfruit and bhata.

Extending Holi greetings to all the journalists, the Chief Minister said that Holi is a festival of colors and happiness celebrated by all whether the rich or poor. Children, elders all eagerly wait for this festival. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was seen drenched in the colors of Holi. Mr Baghel was seen in a celebratory spirit singing the Phag song from the stage. The Chief Minister sang the song Chalo Birj Mein Khele Gulouwa, Radhe Bina Holi Na Hoye… Phag. The Chief Minister also honored women journalists on behalf of the Press Club on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

President of Raipur Press Club Mr. Damu Ambedare, Treasurer Ms. Shagufta Sarin along with office bearers of Press Club Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Manoj Nayak, Bholaram Sinha, Javed Khan and a large number of press club officials and members were present at the Holi Milan function organized by Raipur Press Club.
