Raipur, 09 February . Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain chaired a meeting of the Executive Central Committee constituted under Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club Yojana at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhavan here today. The amendment in the rules and regulations of the Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club was discussed in the meeting. Additional Chief Secretary Sports and Youth Welfare Smt. Renu G Pillay also attended the meeting.
The Sports and Youth Welfare officials informed the meeting about the current provisions of the rules of the Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club. Similarly, a provision was proposed to ensure compliance with the club’s financial rules and maintenance of relevant registers. Similarly, the members put forth their views regarding the proposed provision of prioritizing the youth having high qualifications in the field of education, sports, social service, skill development, and environmental protection in the club.
In the meeting, a provision was proposed to keep a fixed amount out of the sanctioned amount in the budget of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department for Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club Yojana for administrative expenditure. In addition, the remaining amount will be distributed to all the District Collectors by the Director of Sports and Youth Welfare on the instructions of the Governing Body headed by the Chief Minister to transfer the same to the bank account of the District Level Committee of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club. The clubs will spend the grant amount by following the financial rules and the amount will not be withdrawn until immediate payment is necessary. Other proposals were discussed in detail in the meeting.
Sports and Youth Welfare Secretary Shri N.N. Ekka, Public Relations Secretary Shri Siddharth Komal Pardeshi, Urban Administration Special Secretary Shri Ayaz Tamboli, Finance Special Secretary Smt. Sheetal Shashwat Verma, Director (Panchayat) Shri Kartikeya Goyal, Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club Officer-in-Charge Smt. Ranu Sahu, Sports, and Youth Welfare Director Smt. Shweta Sinha, Sports and Youth Welfare Joint Secretary Shri G.L. Sankala, and other members of the committee attended the meeting organized through video conferencing.
