Raipur, 06 January . Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel paid tribute to Padma Shri Rajmohini Devi by lighting a lamp and offering flowers in front of her portrait on the occasion of her death anniversary today.
Chief Minister, Mr. Baghel, stated that the late Rajmohini Devi’s entire life as a member of tribal society motivates us to fight societal problems. She was a social worker who followed Gandhian beliefs and established Bapu Dharm Sabha Adivasi Mandal. This group works to help tribal peoples in Gondwana. According to the Chief Minister, during the 1951 famine, driven by Gandhian ideas and aspirations, she started the Rajmohani movement.
The fundamental goal of this campaign was to eliminate superstition and drinking, as well as to ensure tribal women’s freedom and autonomy. People gradually joined this movement. This movement afterward became a non-governmental organization. This institute’s ashrams are located not just in Chhattisgarh, but also in other states.
