KORBA, 6 DECEMBER . The three hours rainbow tinted show started with the auspicious lighting of the lamp ceremony followed by the melodious welcome song by the school choir. Young singers from primary classes sang Chhattisgarh Rajya Geet – Arpa Pari Ke Dhar.
Next was the honoring the guests by presenting saplings. Mr. Kailash Pawar, the Principal of the school in his address welcomed the guests and presented the Annual School Report, 2022-23. Chief Guest Shri Santosh Singh, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Korba and the Guest of Honour Mr. Pankaj Sharma, Deputy CEO, Balco in the presence of other eminent guests Mrs. Rachna Jha, Mrs. Bimla Jha, School Local Managing Committee members Mr. Amit Gupta, Mr. Shubhadeep Khan & Mr. Hitesh Chhugani and other erudite from Balco and Korba, graced the occasion. They gave away the awards and prizes to the budding talents of the school.
Honourable Guest of Honour Mr. Pankaj Sharma, Deputy CEO, Balco became little nostalgic and went back to his childhood days. “In this fast paced world students today involved in indoor activities more than us, they engage themselves most of the time in tapping mobiles or playing with electronic gadgets”.
Honourable Chief Guest Shri Santosh Singh, IPS in his address said that present era is very competitive and parents need to be updated. He told the students that if you don’t prepare today, you will fail tomorrow. He appreciated the team works, arrangements and the environment of the school.
After this the two and a half hours colourful bonanza commenced with a song dedicated to lord Ganesha. Baby Shark (Western Dance), Jai Jai Shiv Shankar (New), Western dance (Rock & Disco), Lamborgini (Manike Mange Hite), Retro Songs ( Group1 & Group 2), Army theme dance, Disco Dancer (Aa dekhe zara), Nacho – Nacho (Mera Wala Dance), Cow boy dance (Advertisements), Kala Chashma & Selfie Le Le re), Dance ka bhut Chadhya (Western Music), Krishna Theme dance, Hawa hawai & Aila re Aila, Tap Dance & Dance Monkey, Retro (Chala jata hoon & Jai Jai Shiv Shankar, Aaj mai upar (It’s the time to Disco), Malhari, Mexican dance, Shiv Tandav & Shivaji Maharaj theme dance were presented by hundreds of participants from classes Prep-I to III students There were Maxican and fusion dance events which mesmerized the audience.
The young comperes showcased their talent in such a way that everyone in the audience, listening to them, was spellbound. The enthralling show ended with vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem sung by school choir.
