The newly-appointed member of the Chhattisgarh State Women Commission, Mrs. Balo Baghel, took charge of the office

Raipur, 24 November . 5 members were appointed for the Chhattisgarh State Women Commission, out of which the fifth member Mrs. Balo Baghel took charge of the Commission office on Tuesday. Dr. Kiranmayi Nayak, the President of the Commission, entrusted Mrs. Balo Baghel with the work. The newly-appointed member has been given the responsibility of 7 districts in the Bastar division which includes Kanker, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Bastar, Sukma, Bijapur, and Dantewada districts.


While expressing her gratitude to the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, Dr. Nayak said that empowered women have been appointed as members of the Women Commission. Women are acting as representatives everywhere in Chhattisgarh from Bastar to Sarguja. Now, the reach of the Women’s Commission has spread to every corner of the state. She said that the Commission will work as a team in the direction of providing justice to women, empowering them, and spreading awareness following the dream of the Chief Minister.


The newly appointed member Mrs. Balo Baghel said while thanking the top leadership of the Government that the Women Commission has been formed for safeguarding the constitutional rights of women. The commission will always work for victimized women and ensure that they get their rights.
