The people who arrogate farmers’ money cannot roam free, they’ll be sent to jail. Any incident of fraud with farmers will be thoroughly investigated and immediate action will be taken. During the ‘Bhent-Mulaqat’ Programme in Makdi, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel assured all the farmers after hearing the complaint of one of them. He said that the officers have been instructed to take strict action in the event of fraud with farmers so that such antisocial agents are taught a lesson. A farmer had made a complaint against the Additional Agriculture Extension Officer A.K. Tandon during the Bhent Mulaqat Programme in Makdi. The Police Officers said that an F.I.R has been lodged against him. “Welfare of the farmers is among the topmost priorities of the state government. We are committed to provide right and fair price for their produce”, said Mr. Baghel. On this occasion, Minister of Industries Mr. Kawasi Lakhma, Rajya Sabha MP Mrs. Phulo Devi Netam, MP Mr. Deepak Baij, Kondagaon MLA Mr. Mohan Markam, and other public representatives were also present.
Complaint was made regarding name not being added to the ration card, the Chief Minister gave the necessary directions, and by the end of the programme, the name was added– The people are receiving on-the-spot solutions to their problems in programme organized during ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’. Partu Pandey complained that his wife’s name wasn’t added to the ration card. The Chief Minister immediately gave instructions to solve the issue. At the end of the programme, the Chief Minister told Partu Pandey that his wife Sohdara’s name has been added to the ration card.
Training is going on under ‘Mawa Girda Kondanar Yojana’ Recruitment for Bastar Fighters is going to commence and training is being provided as well for its preparations by the state government. Under the ‘Mawa Girda Kondanar Yojana’, youth and girls are being trained for its preparation. Benefits of Narva Scheme While interacting with Chief Minister, the beneficiaries of Narva Yojana told that the water level has increased significantly through this scheme. Earlier there used to be water scarcity problem in the high altitude areas which has now been solved. Due to this they are now able to harvest twice.
