Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Pays Tribute to Veer Savarkar on his Death Anniversary

Raipur, February 26, 2026/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid tribute to eminent revolutionary, nationalist thinker and freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar on his death anniversary by offering floral tributes to his portrait at the Chief Minister’s residence office in Raipur.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said Veer Savarkar was not only a freedom fighter but also a visionary thinker, social reformer, powerful writer-poet and noted historian. He said Savarkar gave the Indian freedom movement renewed ideological strength and played a key role in encouraging patriotism among citizens.

Chief Minister said Veer Savarkar’s sacrifice, struggle and indomitable courage in the cause of the nation’s independence are etched in golden letters in Indian history. Despite the inhuman hardships of Kala Pani, his commitment to the nation remained unwavering. He said Veer Savarkar’s life continues to inspire dedication to national service, inner strength and pride in the nation.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said Veer Savarkar’s ideas inspire young people to contribute to nation-building, adding that citizens should imbibe his ideals and work towards building a strong, prosperous and self-reliant India.

Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation Chairman Shri Saurabh Singh, Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency Chairman Shri Bhupendra Savanni, Chief Minister’s Press Officer Shri Alok Singh, Shri Ram Garg and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
