Raipur, February 18, 2026/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid heartfelt tribute to the mother of Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court, Shri Ramesh Sinha.
The Chief Minister attended the condolence meeting held at the Chief Justice’s residence in Bodri, Bilaspur, where he offered floral tributes before the portrait of the Late Smt Kusum Sinha and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. Expressing deep sympathy, Shri Sai met the bereaved family members and conveyed his condolences. He remarked that a mother’s affection, values, and sacrifices are life’s greatest wealth, adding that Smt. Kusum Sinha’s simple, affectionate, and exemplary personality will always be remembered.
On the occasion, Union Minister of State for Urban Development and Member of Parliament, Shri Tokhan Sahu, School Education Minister, Shri Gajendra Yadav, former Governor, Shri Ramesh Bais, and MLA Shri Sushant Shukla, also paid floral tributes and expressed their condolences. Judges of the High Court and subordinate courts, members of the Bar, officials of the Advocate General’s office, and several senior officers were present.
