Shemaroo Entertainment is set to turn up the heat this Valentine’s season with the premiere of its new original web series, Dil Dhokha aur Desire, set to stream exclusively on ShemarooMe from 12th February 2026. The series stars Akanksha Chamola, Kunwar Amar, and Ali Hasan.

Speaking about her role as Malini, Akanksha Chamola shared, “Malini is one of the most intense and emotionally complex characters I have portrayed. What I love about Dil Dhokha aur Desire is that it doesn’t judge its characters or relationships; it dives into the messy, uncomfortable grey zones that feel incredibly real. Talking about playing Shaurya, Kunwar Amar shared, “Shaurya is driven by ambition, a hunger to succeed, to be loved, and to do the right thing, even when everything around him pushes him in the opposite direction. Adding to this, Ali Hasan, who plays the role of Pratap, shared, “Pratap is a man who believes power gives him control over everything, relationships, emotions, and people. Kunwar and Akanksha were incredibly supportive; we would crack jokes between takes just to lighten the mood. But the moment the camera rolled, we all went to those uncomfortable places together.
