Some journeys are planned. Others are driven by an unshakable inner voice. Prateik Chaudhary’s story belongs firmly to that second category. Leaving behind an established business in 2019, he stepped into the unpredictable world of acting with nothing but faith in himself and a promise to never quit. Actor Prateik Choudhary’s growth has been consistent and intensely personal.
From portraying a role in Paramavatar Shri Krishna to leading successful shows like Sindoor Ki Keemat and Tose Naina Milaike and will debut in the films with Band Baaja Murder, Prateik has always trusted his instincts. “Honestly, every time I face the camera or give a shot, I feel it very deeply, ‘yes, I belong here’. Acting gives me peace, and that feeling reassures me every single time that this is exactly where I’m meant to be.”
When asked if there was ever a moment of doubt or a thought to give up, Prateik shared, “When I left my established business in 2019 and stepped into acting, I made a very clear decision that very day, no matter what happens, I will continue acting till my last breath. Even if there is no work, even if I have to sleep on the road, quitting was never an option for me. I was mentally prepared for everything except giving up. God has been very kind, and things started falling into place sooner than I expected. Of course, there have been ups and downs, and there still are and there always will be but quitting has never been part of my journey.”
Prateik recently received the Best Popular Actor 2025 award for Tose Naina Milaike, and that inner confidence was acknowledged by the public. As he accepted the award, he shared, “More than pressure, I feel extremely overwhelmed and proud of myself. Receiving the Best Popular Actor 2025 award for Tose Naina Milaike from the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Brajesh Pathak ji, is truly special. For me, this award is not just a trophy, it represents respect, love, recognition, and wealth of emotions. I feel genuinely blessed and deeply grateful for this honour.”
He added, “For me, success goes far beyond growth, awards, visibility, or popularity. At the end of the day, it’s about inner peace, love, respect, and becoming a good human being above all. When these things are in place, everything else automatically starts falling into its right place.”
Looking back at the uncertainties of his early days, Prateik carries no regrets. He says, “Honestly, I wouldn’t change anything. Wherever I am today is because of all the experiences I’ve had. I strongly believe that nothing is truly in our control except our karma, dharma, and hard work. Whatever is meant to happen will happen in its own time. All we can do is keep our intentions pure, pray, stay focused, and continue doing our work with honesty. This is what I’ve been doing for years, and this is what I will continue to do.”
The overnight success of many in the industry has created an expectation that success comes easily. Prateik Chaudhary has proven this wrong through discipline he has showed throughout his career. It serves as a reminder that through faith in oneself, hard and honest work, and through the continuous courage not to give up, someone can create an incredible legacy and be recognised for such.
