Chief Minister Participates in Various Programmes
Raipur, January 31, 2026/ During his two-day visit to Narayanpur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai participated in several social, sports and tourism-related activities, beginning with the inauguration of the Peace Half Marathon organised in Abujhmad region. Chief Minister Shri Sai reviewed and encouraged the efforts being undertaken by the State Government to strengthen peace-building, livelihood enhancement and community participation in the area. Through personal interaction with the local residents, he sought to further reinforce trust, dialogue and collective participation.
Chief Minister Flags Off the Fleet of Bikers
Near Shant Sarovar, Chief Minister Shri Sai flagged off a group of 40 bikers from the Chhattisgarh Riding Club, Raipur. The group will travel to Kachchapal, a remote tourist destination in Narayanpur district. This initiative aims to promote greater awareness and understanding of Abujhmad region and to carry the message of peace to the wider public.
Boating at Shant Sarovar
At Shant Sarovar, located near Bijli village, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai enjoyed a boating session along with Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Revenue Minister Shri Tankram Verma, Bastar MP Shri Mahesh Kashyap, and Chairman of the Minor Forest Produce Board Shri Roopsai Salam. This special initiative, undertaken by the local administration, is intended to promote local tourism and highlight the region’s natural attractions.
Shri Sai aimed with Bow and Arrow
During a programme held at Bijli, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai interacted warmly with local youth archers and boosted their morale by personally taking up the bow and arrow to aim at the target. He said that Bastar region is rich in sporting talent and Chhattisgarh Government is continuously working to combine the traditional skills of the tribal community with modern training methods.
Chief Minister Shri Sai further stated that Chhattisgarh Government, in coordination with the district administration and security forces, is working consistently to establish peace in the region, enhance livelihood opportunities, provide platforms for sporting talent and build an atmosphere of trust.
Present on the occasion were the Chief Minister’s Secretary Shri Rahul Bhagat, Commissioner Shri Doman Singh, IG Shri P Sundarraj, Collector Ms Namrata Jain, Superintendent of Police Shri Robinson Guria, CEO Ms Akanksha Shiksha Khalkho, along with other officials.
