Raigarh. To promote dental hygiene among villagers NTPC Lara hosted a series of oral health check-up camps in associate villages of Lara Super Thermal Power Station, as part of its community outreach activities. The event took place in village Mehloi, Devalsura, Kandagarh aiming to raise awareness about oral care and provide basic dental screening for villagers.
The camp was supported by a team of dentists and medical professionals. Around 270 villagers received comprehensive oral examinations, where dental staff checked for common issues like cavities, gum health, and other dental concerns.
Beyond examinations, the event emphasized interactive dental hygiene education. Senior citizens received guidance on proper brushing techniques, maintaining gum health in old age and basic domestic oral care for a healthy life.
To encourage continued care at home, NTPC Lara distributed free dental care kits to all participants. Each kit included essentials such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, and a tongue cleaner, helping reinforce oral hygiene practices beyond the camp.
