Korba, 30 Oct. As part of the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, NTPC Korba organized an enthusiastic Walkathon under the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.” The event was held in the township premises of NTPC Korba, with the objective of promoting awareness on integrity, transparency, and ethical governance among employees and residents alike.

The Walkathon was led by Shri Bibhas Ghatak, BUH Korba, in the presence of Shri Satrughana Behera, GM (O&M), along with Heads of Departments, employees, CISF personnels and representatives from unions and associations. The large-scale participation reflected the collective spirit of NTPC Korba towards upholding the values of honesty, accountability, and vigilance in every aspect of organizational and personal conduct.

The procession, which commenced from Pragati Club and traversed through the township till the Silver Jubilee Park, became a vibrant display of unity and awareness.

Participants carried banners and placards with inspiring messages emphasizing the importance of ethical behavior and collective responsibility in eradicating corruption and promoting transparency.

The event concluded with a reaffirmation of NTPC Korba’s unwavering commitment to maintaining a culture of integrity and vigilance. The Walkathon served as a powerful reminder that vigilance is a continuous and shared responsibility — essential for strengthening the foundations of good governance and ethical leadership.
