Maitri Mahila Samiti of NTPC Korba celebrated the vibrant festival of Teej with great enthusiasm and traditional fervour at the Employee Development Centre (EDC), Korba. The celebration brought together the women members of the NTPC family in a joyous and culturally rich gathering.

The event was graced by Smt. Roli Khanna, President of Maitri Mahila Samiti, who was warmly welcomed by the members of Maitri Mahila Samiti. The occasion was further honoured by the presence of Smt. Sadhna Pandey, President of Sangwari Mahila Samiti, who participated as a special guest.

The celebration reflected the true spirit of Teej — a festival symbolizing devotion, marital harmony, and the beauty of Indian traditions. The venue was adorned with traditional decorations, vibrant colours, and cultural motifs that created a festive and welcoming ambience.

The event featured a variety of cultural performances including traditional dances, group songs, and a Teej-themed fashion walk by members of the samiti, showcasing ethnic attire and accessories. Enthusiastic participation in the mehendi and rangoli competitions added to the vibrancy of the event.

Addressing the gathering, Smt. Roli Khanna emphasized the importance of such cultural events in fostering unity, joy, and a sense of belonging among the members. She appreciated the collective efforts of the organising team and encouraged continued participation in such initiatives.

Smt. Sadhna Pandey lauded the beautifully organized event and highlighted the cultural significance of Teej in strengthening social bonds and celebrating womanhood.
