Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and his Family Performed the Sacred Puja
Raipur, November 2, 2025/On the auspicious occasion of Dev Uthani Ekadashi, Tulsi Vivah ceremony was held at the residence of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai with deep devotion and traditional rituals. Chief Minister Sai and his wife, Mrs. Kaushalya Sai, solemnized the divine marriage of Goddess Tulsi and Lord Shaligram, performing the rituals together with their family.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai said that Dev Uthani Ekadashi symbolizes the harmony between religion, spirituality, and nature. With the awakening of Lord Vishnu from His cosmic slumber, the auspicious period for new beginnings commences. The Tulsi Vivah, he said, inspires purity, harmony, and unity within society.
He emphasized that in Chhattisgarh’s folk traditions, the Tulsi Vivah holds special significance. The festival teaches the importance of maintaining balance and harmony between family, society, and nature. In the state’s rich cultural ethos, Tulsi Vivah is revered as a symbol of purity and devotion, fostering a spirit of sanctity and goodwill in human life.
Extending his wishes to the people of the state, Chief Minister Sai prayed for the happiness, peace, prosperity, and good health of all. He said that with the blessings of Lord Vishnu—the preserver of the universe—and Goddess Tulsi, may every life be filled with peace, harmony, and prosperity, and may the world be infused with health, compassion, and auspicious energy.
He further noted that the festival is not only significant from a religious standpoint but also serves as a reminder of balance, positivity, and renewal in life.
Chief Minister Sai extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of Chhattisgarh on the sacred occasion of Dev Uthani Ekadashi and Tulsi Vivah, adding that the festival stands as a symbol of living traditions, popular faith, and enduring human values that continue to enrich the cultural soul of Chhattisgarh.
