SECL CMD Harish Duhan undertook a visit to SECL Sohagpur Area to review coal production status and assess monsoon preparedness.
During the visit, he chaired a review meeting with AGM and all HoDs/SOs of Sohagpur Area and reviewed production-productivity and other key operational areas.
Shri Duhan emphasized the importance of enhancing coal production and ensuring seamless operations, especially in light of the upcoming monsoon.
He reviewed current output levels and discussed measures to improve efficiency and safety. Detailed instructions were given to strengthen infrastructure and adopt proactive strategies for monsoon readiness.
Shri Duhan highlighted the significance of timely execution of plans to ensure uninterrupted production and logistics during the rainy season. He directed the team to maintain focus on critical areas such as mine water management, transport roads, and coal evacuation routes.
He also reviewed the progress of installation of continuous miner in Damini UG as well as coal production from new sector of Amlai OC.
During the visit Sohagpur AGM Shri P Srikrishna and other senior officials were present.
