Korba, 11 June. As part of its flagship Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM), NTPC Korba organized an impactful interactive session for the GEM girls in collaboration with the Brahma Kumaris, focusing on self-development, emotional well-being, and inner empowerment.
Held at the EDC premises, the session aimed to instill confidence, clarity, and spiritual strength among the young participants of the GEM summer camp. Facilitators from the Brahma Kumaris led the session with engaging discussions on the importance of self-awareness, positive thinking, and emotional resilience in day-to-day life.
With their signature calm and empathetic approach, the Brahma Kumaris team guided the girls through experiential learning methods—ranging from storytelling and real-life reflections to group discussions and guided meditation. The session encouraged the girls to look inward, identify their strengths, and understand the power of inner peace in overcoming external challenges.

The participants responded with enthusiasm, actively engaging with the speakers and sharing their own thoughts and questions. Many of them expressed that the session helped them feel more centered, inspired, and equipped to handle academic, social, and personal pressures.

NTPC Korba continues to enrich the GEM curriculum through such initiatives, believing that true empowerment begins with inner transformation. By bringing in value-based organizations like the Brahma Kumaris, NTPC strives to offer a holistic platform for the growth and development of young girls, preparing them not only for academic success but also for life beyond the classroom.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, where NTPC Korba extended its gratitude to the Brahma Kumaris team for their insightful contribution and ongoing dedication to nurturing positive change.
