Naxal Eradication Mission ‘Kagaar-2026’,ITBP Increasing Stronghold in Abujhmad…

March 29, 2025: All the battalions under the control of Tactical Sector Headquarters (Bhubaneswar), ITBP, Kondagaon (CG) are moving forward strongly in Abujhmad area of district Narayanpur (Chhattisgarh), which is known as the stronghold of Naxalites. DIG Rana Yudhvir Singh is leading all the operations from the front and working shoulder to shoulder with the Jawans during establishing the new camps by ITBP in the remote and dangerous areas of Abujhmad. In this series, 41st Battalion, ITBP, Kondagaon has set up a new camp in Padamkot, about 5 km ahead from the recently opened Camp Bedmakoti in Abujhmad area. This area of Padamkot is surrounded by dense forests and is considered tactically vital. There is a sign of happiness among the local populates due to the establishment of this ITBP camp here and they are also feeling safe themselves. Due the presence of ITBP here, the deterrence level is increased on Naxalites and by virtue of this their nefarious intentions will also be restricted.

DIG Rana Yudhvir Singh informed that medical facilities as well as other public amenities will be provided to the local population at this camp and he further said that in such kind of operations we have been getting constant guidance from our Central Frontier HQrs IG Shri O.P. Commandant and his team of 41st Battalion for opening the new COB Padamkot in a very short span of time and also thanked Shri Sundarraj P., IG Bastar Range, Shri Amit Kamble, DIG, Kaker Range, Shri Prabhat Kumar, SP, Narayanpur, DRG and Chhattisgarh Police teams for their active cooperation. Shri Amit Bhati, Commandant 53rd Battalion and Shri Rajiv Gupta, Commandant 45th Battalion were also present on the occasion.
