{"id":4639,"date":"2026-04-17T16:25:09","date_gmt":"2026-04-17T16:25:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vedantsamachar.in\/?p=4639"},"modified":"2026-04-17T16:25:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T16:25:10","slug":"inquiry-ordered-into-vedanta-power-plant-accident-in-chhattisgarh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vedantsamachar.in\/?p=4639","title":{"rendered":"Inquiry Ordered into Vedanta Power Plant Accident in Chhattisgarh"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Bilaspur Commissioner to Investigate Vedanta Power Plant Mishap in Sakti District<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Raipur, April 17, 2026\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chhattisgarh Government\u2019s General Administration Department has issued orders for an official inquiry into the accident at Vedanta Power Limited, located in Singhitarai village under Dabhra tehsil in Sakti district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to official information, the incident occurred on April 14, 2026, at Boiler Unit-1 of the plant. The accident reportedly occurred due to a technical fault at the joint between the water supply pipe and the steam pipe.
