Extending benefits under several schemes to women, children, adolescent girls and self-help groups, the Chief Minister said that the State Government is according top priority to women\u2019s empowerment, safe motherhood, nutrition and self-reliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shri Sai said the true objective of government welfare schemes is not merely to provide financial assistance, but to bring lasting and meaningful change in people\u2019s lives. He remarked that the spirit of good governance is fulfilled only when schemes directly improve the lives of citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>PM Matru Vandana Yojana Strengthening Safe Motherhood<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the programme, beneficiaries Smt. Manita Markam and Smt. Khemlata Korram were provided assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that ensuring timely nutrition, healthcare services and medical support to pregnant women remains a key priority of the government. He stated that the scheme is emerging as a strong foundation for better maternal and newborn health and safe motherhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Mahtari Vandan Yojana Emerging as Financial Support for Women<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beneficiaries of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Smt. Santoshi Bhoyar, who runs a home-based beauty parlour, and Smt. Sampatti Manikpuri, associated with vegetable trade, shared with the Chief Minister that the financial aid received under the scheme has helped them meet household expenses and support their small businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chief Minister Shri Sai said the Mahtari Vandan Yojana is a significant step towards strengthening women economically. He said the scheme has boosted women\u2019s confidence and enabled them to play a more active role in supporting their families financially. \u201cWhen women become financially strong, both the family and society become stronger,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Annaprashan Ceremony Held for Children\u2019s Healthy Future<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Annaprashan ceremony of the children of Anju Korram and Padmini Netam was also conducted during the programme. Mothers were provided information regarding proper nutrition, vaccination and healthcare for infants. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that special attention to nutrition during the early years of childhood is essential for the physical and mental development of children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Godh Bharai Ceremony Celebrates Motherhood<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the Godh Bharai programme, Manita Markam and Gudiya Markam were honoured. Pregnant women were informed about health check-ups, balanced diet, safe delivery and regular medical examinations. Chief Minister said that a healthy mother forms the foundation of a healthy society and ensuring the well-being of pregnant women is among the government\u2019s foremost responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Suposhan Kits Strengthen Fight Against Malnutrition<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Suposhan Kits were distributed to Kavyansh and Roshni during the event. Shri Sai said building a malnutrition-free Chhattisgarh remains one of the State Government\u2019s major priorities. He said the kits are helping provide essential nutrition to mothers and children, yielding encouraging results towards the creation of a healthier society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Saksham Yojana and Mahila Kosh Encouraging Self-Reliance<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beneficiary Manai Yadav received assistance under the Saksham Yojana. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the scheme is helping women become self-reliant through skill development, employment and self-employment opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the same programme, financial aid under Chhattisgarh Mahila Kosh was extended to Ekta Self-Help Group of Badeknera. Shri Sai said self-help groups are a strong pillars of the rural economy and are promoting entrepreneurship, savings and financial independence among women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Hygiene Kits Distributed to Adolescent Girls<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hygiene kits were distributed to Priya Netam, Mahima, Nandani Patel, Pushpa Nayak and Heena. Chief Minister stressed the need to increase awareness among adolescent girls regarding health, nutrition and hygiene, stating that healthy adolescent girls form the foundation of a healthy family and society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the programme, Kansoram Netam and Gandhiram Netam were honoured for their active participation in childcare and Anganwadi activities. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said both mothers and fathers have an equal role in the holistic development of children. He added that shared family responsibility lays the strongest foundation for a brighter future for children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Welfare Schemes Deepening Public Trust<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said the State Government is committed to ensuring that the benefits of development and welfare schemes reach the last person in society. He expressed confidence that schemes dedicated to the welfare of women, children and families would play a vital role in building a stronger, more prosperous and self-reliant Chhattisgarh.
