A comprehensive medical health check-up camp was successfully organized on April 28, 2025, at NTPC Korba Hospital for the participants of the upcoming Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM) 2025. The initiative aimed to ensure the health and well-being of the young participants, enabling their active and safe involvement in the program’s forthcoming activities.

The medical examination included routine health assessments such as height and weight measurements, vision screening, hemoglobin level evaluation, and a general physical examination by experienced medical professionals.

On the day of the camp, medical tests were successfully completed for 93 out of 101 upcoming GEM participants, ensuring that the majority of the girls received timely and essential health assessments.

The health camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Vinod Kolhatkar, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and Dr. Pratibha Archana Das, Senior Consultant, who ensured a thorough and caring assessment of each participant.

The camp was graced by the visit of Shri Rajeev Khanna, Executive Director (ED), and Smt. Roli Khanna, President of MMS, who interacted warmly with the participants and appreciated the efforts taken to prioritize their health and wellness.

NTPC Korba remains committed to supporting the holistic development and empowerment of young girls through health, education, and skill-building initiatives under the GEM program.
