Korba,29 may 2025:As part of Swachhata Pakhwada 2025, a special cleanliness drive was conducted today at the Muktidham in the project-affected village of Charpara Kohdia, with active participation from the local community, public representatives, and the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team of NTPC Korba.
The event was graced by the presence of Ward Councillor Shri Narendra Devangan, who led the initiative by administering the Swachhta Shapath (Cleanliness Pledge) to all attendees. The campaign aimed to sensitize the community about the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces and preserving the sanctity of religious and communal areas.
As part of the CSR efforts, two dustbins were distributed at the site to encourage proper waste segregation and disposal, reinforcing sustainable sanitation practices in the village.

In alignment with the national initiative of Swachhata Pakhwada, NTPC Korba has been actively organizing a series of impactful events from May 17 to May 26, 2025, aimed at fostering awareness and action toward cleanliness, sustainability, and responsible waste management. The Muktidham cleanliness drive at Charpara Kohdia is one such event reflecting NTPC Korba’s commitment to community engagement and environmental stewardship.
